He has matured wonderfully over the 40 years without the barrel becoming too dominant. The power he has retained and still not too spicy! Very beautiful.

55% are a decent force. But alcoholic notes in the nose? No, no. At most, each time shortly after panning, but that's logical. Immediately after pouring still fresh with citrus flavors. But after a few seconds, this whisky plays its cards, an old age, a good barrel! Very set aromas, is this leather? No, maybe a bit exaggerated, but it goes in that direction. Add some bananas and other sweet tropical fruits.

Wow this start is then huge. Here, the 55% take their toll, but they provide a wonderful cargo of tropical fruits. A minimal saltiness. Furthermore banana and persimmon comes to it.

He comes without bitterness, but the influence of the barrel is here (very positively meant) not to be overlooked. Very creamy, so if chocolate, then pure white chocolate. Very cute. Drinkable. Not modern, but fresh, green oak. This lasts wonderfully long, so you still want to let your tongue pass through your mouth later.
