This bottling should actually be 19 years old or more, because of the whole mothballing break of 1996 to 2002.
To think I bought this malt for 45 euro gives me a good laugh nowadays. And then it gets sadder when I realize I could've gotten at least two more bottles for later. Oh well...

Like most Dronachs, it can be shy and needs time to breathe. Refreshing nose: sultanas, wood polish, pipe tobacco, old paper, resin.

Prunes, chocolate, tarte tatin, dark cane sugar or molasses. Undertones: walnuts, grassy and heathery.

Long, raw cocoa beans, a bit of more walnuts, light coal smokiness. Grows pleasantly bitter.
