The nose is a dream! Unfortunately, it can't quite hold this aromatic, intense umami-honey-fruit experience in my mouth, although it gets better with each sip. Looks very fresh and lively for the 28 years.

Umami! Chips with bacon powder (if there is such a thing). Waxy. At first slightly artificial perfume note (floral). Grassy. Barley malt (duh!). Intense pear over time (in all aggregate states). Shortcrust. Fine, greasy, spicy wood note. Highly focused. Honey and citrus fruit. Very, very appetizing.

Cool and bitter first impression, initially also a bit thin. Fairly sour, wet wood. But it gets more full-bodied from sip to sip. Remains on the bitter side, but well balanced by a syrupy fruit sweetness. Basil and fresh coriander.

Tart citrus fruit, distinct spicy oak. Builds up full-bodied with a few more sips and then goes towards cake batter, vanilla, light fruit (but always with an acidic component) for me.
