Very good whisky and one of the best old Tomintouls. But I must say that I have tasted quite a few in the meantime and none of them was really outstanding, the 1966 Whisky Fair being probably the best.

Mellow with a rich flavor at first nosing. Overripe fruits, papayas, apricots, honey and notes of concentrated black tea. An excellent nose.

Mild, light and smooth with notes of honey, toffee, mangos and cereals. Some white pepper and tea as well. Very nice, clean and totally pleasant.

Medium long, dominated by tea aromas and white pepper with no unpleasant side notes coming up.
