With this dram I start a little Highland Park Tasting.

It starts surprisingly sweet and I don't find smoke at first. Honey-sweet, barely perceptible herb meadow and behind it: nothing. This doesn't mean much, but nothing happens behind the 80 percent sweetness and 20 percent herbs and there are no other aromas either - an empty space.
The sweetness of honey gets a little sherry touch after 15 minutes and there are now also slightly smoky corners and edges. At least he has a profile now. -
The entry isn't all that great, nor is it very round, but the mouthfeel is nice, with a sweet, then tingly progression. The age is already well represented and also offers some creaminess.
