Tasted from a Glencairn glass. Tasted neat! I also like this Irish whisky from the Brühl whisky house. It's not overpowered by the cask; despite that, it has a certain sweetness that perhaps not everyone likes, as it has a somewhat perfumed or soapy quality. Personally, I like it!

Initially, I get a certain woody spice on the nose, followed by a note I would classify as perfume, perhaps even soapy. Further on, notes of caramel, vanilla, and a dirty cherry emerge, with peach in the background. The alcohol is barely noticeable.

On the palate, lovely ripe peach, caramel, a nice pleasant sherry sweetness, vanilla sugar, marzipan, and here too the alcohol is very well integrated.

The finish is relatively long. Towards the end, a lovely sherry sweetness returns, or rather, that perfume/soap note.
