The nose is indeed full of orange or clementine notes. But they almost disappear in the taste and finish. Hard to explain the reason of this 15yo makt to be so spicy and edgy in the taste. I was lucky to taste just a sample, full bottle is not for me.

In the beginning not so much of peat. It is present of course, but not as one would expect from Ballechin. And it's more farmy and earthy, then coastal or industrial. Plenty of sweet-sour fruit aromas: apple, orange (who would expect this? :), plums. More peat after 15 minutes or so.

very spicy, chili, more peat than the nose suggests. Oily, but with some ashy moments as well. Citrus, grilled fat meat, barbeque.

long with a lot of chili, charcoal, light mineralic and metallic notes. Light sourness, but not as prominent as in the nose.
