I am no bourbon lover but this older bottle that the sample is from is really nice.

Vey sweet nose on maple syrup, pecan pie, cinnamon, smoked meats and blueberry

Spirity, powerful on cream soda, caramel, toffee and wafer.
Its gets sweeter by the second and there is a little melon in the mix but it is not what I would call fruity. -
