Coal smoke rising with some mackerel cooking nearby. There's a noticeable brine aroma but also a sickeningly sweet note, (an aroma which I always get in Johnnie Walker expressions) a kind of creamy vanilla.

Watery on the palate, the peat jumps forward with added notes of seaweed and brine. The saltiness becomes sweet, on that cheap vanilla ice cream note, some soft spices and a touch of cherry.

Slightly drying, fairly long in length, there's grassy notes along with the peat and seaweed.
