Amazing nose. I wish taste would follow but stays behind due to dry bitterness. Still a wonderful dram.

Strong alcohol at onset, (as expected from 58.6%) but quickly turns to ripe banana, chocolate, orange candy and tangerine in 10 minutes. Wonderful, can nose this for hours.

Vibrant and oily. Covers mouth nicely. Starts with a nice orange sweetness and turns to grapefruit, astringent and bitter. Can't hide the high alcohol here so let's add a drop of water... Nose becomes sweeter, apples and malt notes come into play and some flowers too.
Water dilutes the sweet taste but also helps bitterness so I'm happy to add some water. -
Nice, long finish leaving with grapefruit and lemon zest.
