An interesting whisky with a soft and integrated nose but a shorter palate that quickly transitions into a spice-driven finish. Improves with water as the palate becomes clearer and better connected.

Rounded and well integrated. Toffee, fruitcake, sweet grapes, apricot and sultana. Brown sugar, chocolate and nutmeg with some grapefruit and fresh vanilla. Slightly oxidised sherry character. A faint green, floral note gives a slightly “humid greenhouse” impression.

Relatively short. Toffee sweetness, sultanas, hazelnut, cinnamon and oak. Opens up slightly with water, becoming a bit sweeter and more defined.

Dry, spicy and slightly tart. White pepper, cumin and oak linger.
