My first bottle of the legendary Uigeadail - and is it as good as it's fans claim? is it as good as Ardbeg 10?
Honestly I'm unimpressed, Ard 10 is better & more complex. The oloroso cask finishing is cheap and lacks integration - seems like a typical commercial whisky trading on past glories. Wouldn't buy again.

Pungent you can smell from a distance. Smouldering horse manure, cheap sherry. Not complex.

Rounded, unmistakably Ardbeg with all the usual comments applied. Seems young, 7 y/o maybe? a bit harsh.

Sour, hot and chilli, mouth numbing. Not that pleasant especially the sour ending.
