If not, my next tip would be Glenrothes.
[Update:] After more than 8 cl over a few weeks, the tendency is more towards Glenrothes than Glenfarclas.

Quite (refill) barrel-heavy, with very present wood notes that are reminiscent of dried culinary herbs.
Oak, oloroso, leather, myrrh (incense sticks), baked apple.
Find it in the nose woodier, herbal, but also cleaner than its predecessor (WID 171413). However, this also makes it seem a bit more arbitrary. -
Already very herbaceous and woody, but just within the limits.
In the middle it becomes fruity-jammy-sweet, with red berries and orange.
Towards the end more spices - cinnamon, nutmeg - and light pepperiness. -
Nice and chocolaty. A bit of juicy acidity in the aftertaste, which goes well with the very present wood spiciness.
