this bottle is one of the most underrated bottles of bourbon i’ve ever had. great richness, very well balanced and super oaky & dry. i’m usually not a big oak fan, but this one is sooo well integrated and reasonably complex. a must buy. remember when u could get blantons on any liquor store shelp for $40? we’ll be saying the same thing about this bottle in a couple years
-
rich muted cinnamon dark oak woodyness. hint of orange peel and vanilla, but feel like i’m in the middle of a pule of fresh chopped red oak. dry.
-
smooorh rich flavor, tons of dry oak w/ a touch of cloves, mint and aninsthe. great mouth feel, buttery.
-
long even oak and cinnamon/clove back and forth. lingers for a very long period
