Definitely a very good malt. But for me it has too much wood influence (almost Virgin Oak-like). With water, the wood is pushed back a little and more overripe fruits appear.

Immediately after pouring it is surprisingly alcoholic and out of round. So let it stand first ... still very tight after 20 minutes. Strong notes of fresh wood ... but everything else has a hard time. At some point, however, there are a few other flavors: vanillin, red apple, roasted almonds, orange zest, herbal bitters ... somehow it reminds me of a Manhattan.

Very lively start, after a few seconds it becomes significantly calmer and starts drumming a little on the tongue. The taste is again very woody with a good portion of vanillin. Unfortunately a bit artificial.

Glowing and long, quite sweet, it stays on the palate.
