A light whisky that lacks complexity - but is certainly drinkable. It's no great loss that the finish is so short...

The first impression is something glue-like with sweet compote. As the palate progresses, the glue - fortunately - disappears and a marzipan-like almond sweetness emerges.

The almond sweetness is confirmed in the mouth; there is also a slight bitterness in the background - like grapefruit, although it is definitely the oak. There is a slight alcoholic sharpness to be noticed from time to time. Overall, the fruits are now very much in the background.

The rather short finish is no surprise. I would perhaps describe the final taste impression as being of a walnut flavor.
