My expectations weren't too high to be honest, but the oak influence of the quarter casks really works for me. It has a nice balance between the Arran citrus fruits and minerals, vanilla/coconut and oak spices. Also, the whisky doesn't feel too young as is sometimes the case with other NAS Arran releases. For under 40 euro quite a bargain for this cask strength malt!

Turkish delight, vanilla, a bit of coconut, some peppermint and a bit briny. Straight forward, but enjoyable.

Sweet citrus fruits and pinapple are joined by vanilla, coconut and oak spices. It has a mineral edge. I like it very much!

Juicy citrus fruits, but also slightly bitter oak spices countered by vanilla, coconut and 7up.
