Why do you water such a whisky down to 40%? Takes so much from him... especially at this price point. Hardly any beginner or layman pays more than 100€ for a 16 year old whisky. Even in 2022. And every advanced drinker frets about the alcohol strength... This could have been an interesting malt. But measured in terms of price-performance ratio, unfortunately failed.

Orange, some raspberry, light oak, sugar cubes. The sherry butts are definitely there. But according to the 40% everything is a bit flat.
