Compared to the David Nicholson in 1843, it looks a bit more irregular and, from the point of view of alcohol, more artificial. Spicy and "pointed". It's not bad, but it falls a little off. Still a correct whiskey with rye and wood influence.

Compared to 1843, it is more spicy. Roasted almonds, nut chips. Looks a bit more fake from the alcohol. Raspberry sweetness. Some dill, anise and fennel. Smoldering embers at the campfire. Candy licorice. Candied zest. Maraschino cherry. Canned corn.

First of all, rinsing (not meant negatively!) Very warming, maybe almost a little hot. Very cute, which looks a bit "pointed" here. Overall, a somewhat more chemical-like sweetness than in the 1843. Not as homogeneous. Raspberry drops. Herb garden (a lot of fennel, some dill).

Virgin Oak. Licking of newly painted wood. Some tannic acid. A little unbalanced.
