This truly remarkable hand-picked single malt from Kingsbarns distillery in the Kingdom of Fife is a shining example of whisky bottles straight from the cask, with no chill-filtration, colouring or dilution so that it remains as natural as when it was drawn from the cask. Always strictly limited due to the number of bottles that can be drawn from one cask, this is a whisky to be cherished and savoured.
TASTING NOTES:
NOSE: Sultanas soaked in plum wine. There is a dry sage note to it and a little cardamom. Heavily fired rye and raisin bread
PALATE: Dried mango and pineapple. Redbush tea and well-aged, tannic oloroso sherry giving some sweetness and texture. Plums appear again in the finish
