About Dumbarton Distillery

Dumbarton was a Lowland grain whisky distillery, built in 1938 by Hiram Walker & Sons to supply spirit for the Ballantine’s blend. It was the largest continuous grain distillery in Scotland, later demolished after closing in 2002.
