About Miltonduff

Miltonduff Distillery is six miles southwest of Elgin in the Speyside region of Scotland. Founded in 1824 on the site of the former Pluscarden Abbey meal mill, the distillery retains a link to its monastic heritage. Since 2005 it has been owned by Chivas Brothers (a subsidiary of Pernod Ricard), producing malt whisky both for Ballantine’s blends and for its own less common single malt releases.
