Ardmore is a single malt Scotch whisky brand produced at the Ardmore Distillery in the Highlands. Founded in 1898 by Adam Teacher, it has long been associated with supplying peated malt for Teacher’s blended Scotch. The distillery predominantly produces a lightly peated Highland style, though unpeated spirit is also made and bottled under names such as Ardlair. Ardmore’s official range includes age-stated and non-age-stated expressions, often matured in a mix of ex-bourbon and quarter casks. Owned by Beam Suntory, Ardmore maintains traditional production methods, including direct firing of its stills.
