Early 2023 I reviewed my rating of last years, and it was quite obvious, that most of the bottles are in the range of 80-90. Well, I see this not specific to me, but overall in WB for most users. While this is understandible to adopt your own handling to the handling of a crowd, I am going to change it now at least for me. I try to use more span of the scale, having the system as given below.

Think about to do the same. We have more then span of 80 to 90, isn't it?

In general, rating should (in my understanding) be done like you do it as blind tasting. Means age or price tag does not matter. Just how well the Dram performs for you.

91-100 – Whisky heaven, best stuff
86-90 – Wow, really good one, need a bottle
81-85 – Wow, really good one
71-80 – Fine, like to drink by time
61-70 – Okay, but not more than 1 Dram
51-60 – Drinkable, but really not mine
1-50 – Avoid it! Not acceptable
