My rating does never consider the price and I give my best to be factual and neutral (sure, 100% is not possible). If a dram fits to my preferred profile then I round up till the next even number. I like Whiskies with a lot of different aromas and aroma groups, but it should also be well balanced in every tasting part. For sure a little bit power and well structured is indispensable for a good Whisky, but unduly power is not a quality aspect for me. The price, the label and the shape of the bottle will not be considered when I assessing the content of a Whisky bottle.
