bought on boxing day sale, 10% off, but shipping is pricey so the discount was hardly felt. service is always fast, reliable and honest, like buying from a friend

online, so ambience score is for website design and functionality. friendly service, great value, needs more selection though.

online, would not be the typical shop for my standard whiskys as it is a bit pricy but for specialities (got some nice samples as well) still a good place to order. service was all right as well.

I have not had the opportunity to visit their shop so am unable to comment on its ambiance but have bought online on a few occasions. They are a wee bit expensive and their service to online shoppers is not that great. The only comment I would make is that if you live in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland then think twice before making a purchase, this Highland based shop will charge extra to post to you

I've been to many Whisky Shops in the UK but haven't yet been "physically" to Abbey Whisky - all purchases so far on-line and communication either by eMail or phone. Thus, the "ambiance" score is somewhat unsubstantiated. From all our contacts so far, I noted them as being very friendly and extremely helpful with my (sometimes) difficult wishes.
