Glen Ord

Booked the Grain to Glass Experience but because of technical issues the distillery wasn't operational and we couldn't visit the malting plant at all. Very disappointing but at arrival we were told to get a full refund and to soften our grief we had a walk through the distillery and in a warehouse we were offered three of the five special cask samples that originally would have been included in the booked tour. 

In one of the beautiful tasting rooms attached to the brand new visitor's centre we also got two extra drams, an Ord DE and the Dufftown 25yo.

Despite of our grief we were more than compensated by the team and have a reason to come back soon!

Schöne Distillery, aber unübersichtlich großer Shop, großes Café, es war sehr voll,

Tourguide (sehr jung) extrem unsicher, brauchte oft Hilfe ihres Publikums (wusste z.B. nicht, wo sherry hergestellt wird) dementsprechend uninteressante Tour

3 Whiskies, davon aber leider 2 langweilige Standards (Singleton of Dufftown 12, Singleton of Ord 12)

Vielleicht haben wir einfach Pech gehabt. Die Tour einen Tag vorher bei Clynelish , ebenfalls Diageo, war das positive Gegenteil. Beide Touren hatten gleichen Preis.
