The Palace Bar is undoubtedly one of Dublin's best loved original Victorian pubs. Located in the centre of Dublin, just off the Temple Bar area, it's one of those places that should have a preservation order stamped on it, not just on the building, but on every inch of interior, including the many characters that frequent it.

As a fan of cask strength whisk(e)ys there was not that much choise but a fine bar anyway....

Entsprechend der in den letzten Jahren zunehmenden Zahl an Abfüllungen aus Irland hat auch die Palace Bar aufgerüstet.
Unbedingt das Redbreast Single Cask bottled for The Pallace Bar (2cl = 25€) probieren!

Wonderful old Victorian style bar. During the week the real whisky bar (which is upstairs) is often closed, as it is often open on Friday or Saturday. They have plenty of whisky downstairs too though. Like, a lot. And otherwise you can always go the Guinness-route.
