NOT AN EXACT MATCH, but hopefully this is helpful regardless.

It looks like I wrapped this miniature up in Parafilm as if my life had depended on it! Since the remaining early-mid 20th Century White Horses disappeared [rapidly] into collections [around 15-20 years ago; very few seeing light of day], this miniature was well preserved, waiting to be opened at this particular moment – just outside Campbeltown at the end of another mini heat wave [followed by days and days of rain].

N: Sweet pickles, fruits, and even [onion and mango] chutney, firm suggestions of sherry maturation plus soft phenols. Fruit-wise: pear, a little soft apple, and a slight [durian/custard fruit] butyric quality.
T: Thinking of fruit compote < [butterscotch] Angel Delight, banana, and vanilla custard, then throw in a few pieces of butternut squash to confuse the conservative chef. And if not oily, then what; a mix of fruit fibre and some of their juices mixed with a vegetable stock jus? A salivating experience; this is quite the encore to our obscure eleven-blend flight.
F: A blend you say? Malty-fruity < juicy, and sugary, and whilst working our way through the tropical fruit bowl, here come those pre-visaged phenolic heathery touches.
C: There’s a reason these vintage WH’s disappeared so quickly. Stylistically, I can’t think of a single contemporary equal or rival to this particular impassioned dram.
