The sublime nose is unfortunately followed by a slightly withdrawn mouth, less expressive and lacking in power (and that, I do not like).
    • Nose
Fine fruits (pineapple, kiwi, grapefruit then, later, wild strawberry). A superb sherry is added on it, chocolate, leather, praline, hazelnut. Light wax, a little butter, old very fine wood. Slight roundness that can recall that of an old Bourbon. A little aromatic herbs and just grass. Fine smoke, dry earth.
    • Taste
Quiet attack on a rather dry sherry, dead leaves, leather, chocolate powder, hazelnuts. We have a return of fruits then, apples, perhaps bitter oranges. Light peat? Gourmand, pastry notes, custard. Coffee with milk. A hair too much wood. The set also lacks power but offers a nice length.
    • Finish
Long, delicately smoked and light red fruits. Dry enough then, leather and tobacco.
