Even if the finish isn't applied, it could probably have been saved, the winey notes are more annoying. The strongest part is clearly the development in the mouth, but the nose and finish are not really weak either. The grain content here is probably very low, in any case no grain-typical notes can be isolated. Overall, not bad at all.
    • Nose
      80 80
Immediately after pouring, sweet and fruity, caramel, jam and a few herbs. After a short time, a somewhat musty-looking woody note is added. The alcohol clearly tickles your nose.

After a while it's only a little more sedate, the fruit notes now dominate, moving towards multi-fruit jam. The mustiness has disappeared and the alcohol no longer tickles.

When it warms up, it initially closes almost completely. Then the nose seems quite creamy. Vinous notes also flash through in between. As the temperature rises, it opens completely again and the nose becomes very intense.
    • Taste
      82 82
Very soft and oily start before the alcohol develops its strength. The fruit acid content is high, the sweetness is moderate, there are a few tannins at the back and a slightly winey note is also present. However, this is too weak to be disruptive. The second sip seems much more balanced.
    • Finish
      80 80
The finish is medium-long, starts sweet, then dries down a bit and leaves a mild sweetness at the end, reminiscent of potato starch. The chest area is warmed moderately.
