About Naked Malt

Naked Malt is a blended malt Scotch whisky brand owned by Edrington, rebranded from its earlier identity as Naked Grouse. The whisky is composed of single malts from well-known Edrington distilleries—including Macallan, Highland Park, and Glenrothes—matured in first-fill sherry casks. The “naked” name refers to the final aging process in “naked” (untreated) sherry-seasoned oak casks, which are used for the first time to mature Scotch. Positioned as a modern, approachable blend, Naked Malt offers a sherried style with transparent packaging and an emphasis on mixability and accessibility.
