  1. MaltMartin Plus scored this whisky 90 points Connoisseur

According to Serge Valentin this should be a botteling from the early 1990's. A classical and superb Connoisseurs Choice old map label expression. What had happened with the Connoisseurs Choice range since the late 1990's?
    • Nose
Delicate smoke. Leather and shoe polish. Oranges and tangerines as well.
    • Taste
If you keep in mind that this is 40% ABV, the palate is very intense and waxy. Peat. Also juicy barley and some berry fruit notes. Cinnamon.
    • Finish
Long, peppeyr. Becomes more salty in the end.
