It is rumored that at the beginning of Frank's ownership, Genting's barrel management and quality level were quite worrying. No wonder the difference between the two batches of batach 4 and 5 of pure Shirley 12CS is so huge.
    • Nose
The first time I heard the ocean, it was clear, brine, salt. Fruity in the middle, orange, plum, pear, plum, sweet and sour, coconut meat, milk flakes, a little lime. Medium peat, pitch, ash and tobacco, with a hint of oak in the finish.
    • Taste
There is more salt, and it is really not like pure sherry barrels, nuts, ginkgo, and soda biscuits. Cheese, a little red fruit jam, finished with spicy oak.
Strong, full of fat, slightly sweet, slightly sour, no astringency, bitter, no pungent, no alcohol.
    • Finish
Long, strong brine, nuts, semi-solidified grease.
