Lots of spice and wood notes with citrus like lemon and orange.
Pear drops sweets and sherbet dip.
The wood notes are more like fresh wood shavings and there are hints of lilac and carnations.
To me there seems to be a lot going on, stuff scrapping to get to the forefront but it has been held back by the dominant spice and wood notes.
There are little bursts here and there of citrus, liquorice, mint and pear.
This makes it more interesting i think.
The 46% gives it a bit of a leg up, can't see how adding water is going to help.
The finish is very much like a barrel aged dry Cornish cider. Lots of spice that leave that tingle in the mouth and dried fruit on the death.
