It is far from the hyper fruit of the Littlemill 1984 or the herbaceous Littlemil of the early 90s. This tangy taste in the mouth disconcerts me, it's not what I expect when I eat a Littlemill. This 40 years is however a very good dram, fine and subtle, very pleasant; but I do not "feel" his 40 years and I do not find that his 600 € exit selling price in Germany is justified.
    • Nose
Sweetness is what strikes first. No big scents slamming, all in the delicacy. Juicy yellow and white fruits, some exotic too, tree flowers, and a slight noble woody.
    • Taste
The delicacy continues ... Dusty wood, tart granny apple, a slight fruity bitterness. The tangy takes center stage.
    • Finish
Average. The wood dust persists. The tangy goes off, giving way to a nice fruity / delicate and subtle floral.

    A wonderful Littlemill. Classic!
    • Nose
Immediately comes the Liitlemill typical fruit note, tropical fruit, ripe and sweet. Mango, peach and a little apple. Freshly baked brioche with lemon zest.
    • Taste
What the nose has already sniffed, continues wonderfully in the mouth. The oak notes come on tap, a slight bitterness, but pleasant.
    • Finish
The finish is long and mouth-filling, it comes to the fine vanilla flavors of Borbonfass.
