looks very valuable and much older than the 14 on the label - very nice flavors - yummy
    • Nose
      92 92
Salt caramel, noble crystalline lemon, salt sticks, campfire smoke, butter, brown sugar, clove, cinnamon wax, sweet blossoms - with more time even fruity - excellent
    • Taste
      90 90
lively vibrant sweetness - honey, lumps, yellow fruits - orange, bay leaf, cinnamon, autumn leaves, lemon, vanilla, dried figs, menthol, slightly ashy smoke
    • Finish
      90 90
very clear wax, tree juice, menthol, eucalyptus, citrus oil, lemon zest, a little dry

This dram needs sometime to get out. Better wait keeping in the glass for some time.

Some friends told me it is better with water, did not had the chance to do it. Next tasting will do so
    • Nose
      Quite flat, almost anonymous
. As there is a surface covering the real essence of this dram
    • Taste
Strong, some salt coming in, starting to warm up. Mmmhhh, very compact with smoke coming out slowly. Is getting interesting, took a while but peat and smoke are coming out
    • Finish
Amazing peat, a burning cigar together with old wood becoming coal. Even stronger when the liquid is over. The empty glass is spectacular

A really tasty Port Charlotte. I like PC anyway. But I really like it.
    • Nose
At Port Charlotte I often have smoked cheese. Here, however, they are rather salty cheese sticks. Fresh citrus notes. Slightly sour fruit. Goes towards unripe gooseberry and rhubarb. A few herbs and spices accidentally fell into the campfire on the beach.
    • Taste
Burnt sugar. Smoky, rather lovely wine (I know that sounds silly). Again these herbs and spices. Now not burned, but rather fresh. Possibly herb butter. Also menthol cigarette.
    • Finish
The smoke gets drier. You are just burning out the grill and there is still a lot of meat and marinade on the grill. In addition citric acid.

Not at all kiffed !! But when I see the other notes, I tell myself that maybe it's me ...
    • Nose
"Dirty", mixed with peat and iodine. Plastic melted. Very particular and quite unpleasant.
    • Taste
Attack rather nice on the peat fat, then evolution to the very special notes of the nose.
    • Finish
      Average.

Definition of crescendo: "a steady increase in intensity or force". This is my experience with this dram
