    Nose: Quite nice with banana, fruits, citrus, sweetness, slightly flowery
    Mouth: Quite dry feeling, a bit burning
    Taste: Oak a lot of oak, some bitterness pepper and ginger is unfortunatly putting a shadow on the fruits below. A bit dissapointing.
    Palate: Long but weak with oak and a lot of oak

    Great look, great bottle, cool cork, young and still good whisky, but unfortunately a little expensive!
    [Color] gold (thanks to the red wine barrels)
    • Nose
      floral, sweet, citrus, some vanilla;
    • Taste
      slightly oily, very sweet, fruity (lime, lychee, possibly apricot), then violently hot and peppery, ginger, orange peel, oak, slightly bitter, clearly recognizable youth;
    • Finish
      maximum medium length, lime, lemon and oak;

    Nice Lowland whisky. Get's better after every drum. Nose, Taste and Finish are dominated by sweet fruit flavours.

    It all felt a bit engineered and thrown together because of the wine cask finish that isn't fully integrated.
    • Nose
      Fresh and fruity orchard notes with a hint of apricot and subtle notes of grape juice, as well as honey, sultana and vanilla custard. Just a tad too much oak. Overall pretty sweet though.
    • Taste
      Sweet and definitely plenty of wine influence, as well as a good amount of wood spices. Slightly astringent and a whiff of Earl Grey. Some fudge too, as well as apricots and honey.
    • Finish
      Lingering tannins and sweet raspberries, as well spices. Medium in length.

    fair puddle
    So the nose is really daunting
    altogether a bit thin
    Maybe the barrel combination was not right here
    • Nose
      very funny / unusual like wet felt or wool, light oak, malt
      later red wine, wet cardboard or chipboard
    • Taste
      soft and silky on the palate
      red berry, herb
      later some oak and sweetness
    • Finish
      medium long
      sweet and tart in exchange
      later lime / lemon notes

    Very complex, many facets, the rollercoaster described by Horst I can fully empathize. I really liked it. Next time, like a few drops of water and see what happens.
    • Nose
      Sweet, caramel (Werther's original), a touch of disinfectant, as well as a hint of citrus (orange peel), vanilla, fruit
    • Taste
      Sweet, spicy, strong, again vanilla, malt, fruit remains in the foreground, a trace of licorice and oak
    • Finish
      Long, oak flashes through, becoming drier, vanilla, malt. In the departure, many different flavors and tastes alternate. Wow.

    Rebirth.
    • Nose
      Quite concentrated, fruit compote, with plums,vanilla and orange blossom.
    • Taste
      A sweet winey start, then drying sslightly before more plums and vanilla flavours, some citrus and a malty core.
    • Finish
      Mellow and winey with a spicy lingering tail.

    Sweet part. Easy drinking, but anything but boring. I think well, maybe a bit too expensive. Nevertheless, recommended.
    • Nose
      fresh, sour grapes, then sweeter, malt, chocolate, nutty ... nutmeg, mint, cinnamon, vanilla
    • Taste
      sweet ... honey, light spiciness ... pepper, plums ... grape nut chocolate, slightly woody, slightly oily, peppermint, roasted almonds
    • Finish
      medium to long, sweet, caramelized fruit, pleasantly woody, slightly bitter
