tasted blind my guess was a youngish whisky from an active cask although sourness and wood do creep in with age; first guess was Cadenhead Glenrothes but I then leaned more towards an a'bunadh. What Breath of Speyside actually contains I don't know, perhaps it is Glenfarclas.

stewed apples, mahogany wood sherry but not too heavy; guessing Oloroso

subtle sweet and tangy but with a heavy dryness following; leather, some sandalwood
