The colleague starts with a ripe, green apple. Slightly sour gooseberries and a hint of leather. Cooked fruits and a good dose of honey. The alcohol keeps back very cool and only discreetly the nose. Smells a bit of old wooden cabinet. With time in the glass tart notes come through. Everything but very set. Plum jam and men's chocolate now take command.
Mild, slightly spicy onset. Instantly creamy, honey-like mouthfeel. Some sour notes, which are immediately replaced by sweet plums and chocolate. The oak spell holds back very much, but is somehow always present. But where are the 52.2% alcohol ?? At the second sip more cherry and chocolate. Reminds me of Mon Cherie.
Medium to long. Nice creamy and warm. Slightly spicy with nutty bitterness.
