    Correct sherried malt.
    • Nose
Sherry, citruses, yellow fruits and spicy oak.
    • Taste
Powerful. Sherry, cocoa, virgin mojito, orange peel, malt and spicy oak.
    • Finish
      Long, spicy, oaky.

it is not that super powerful hit of a young first fill sherry - we are in refill oloroso territory. It is a little middle of the road if one was to find fault - it doesn't seem to present many more nuances, but it steers a steady ship. With six drops of water - nose almost unchanged seems to gain a bit of apple into the mix; palate opens up a bit, more user-friendly; finish somewhat softer. Water seems to be an overall improvement.

sharp prickle, oloroso but yeah we can assume we are in refill territory after 18 years. Quite Xmas cake, some spices, cloves, cinnamon, raisins
    • Taste
      83 83
a little dry sherry in there, cocoa powder, coffee grounds
    • Finish
      84 84
medium; it has that oloroso still strong but no bitterness or overt wood

For the age and the color amazingly subtle sherry and subtle spiciness, amazingly "bright". I think there is even something left over "Glen Garioch". He needs some water, he does not tolerate too much. Alcohol is not felt.
    • Nose
Intensive artificial apple flavor, is closed without water, with a few drops comes a "normal" apple, dates, old oak cabinet, marzipan
    • Taste
      Malt, apple, cough syrup, oranges
    • Finish
Fruity-dry, juicy orange, blockade, cough syrup. Available but not very intense compared with nose and mouth.
