Whisky Reviews for Glendronach 1994

- From nose to finish this is a rich and appetizing whisky - a sherry monster. It's not very complex, but the PX worked its magic on the nose without destroying the mouth.
Molasses, toffee, caramel, coffee candies, cherry chocolates... so many dark sweet things. Then gets quite nutty and creamy. There's damp soil in the background.
A strong cafe mocha (not too sweet), rum-soaked raisins, orange peel, beef stock. The palette isn't nearly as sweet as the nose, and you get to taste new things.
Long, drying, nutmeg, blackberries and currants.
