Very fresh and fruity, full of aroma's and tastes. Also a lot of sweet candy. If I would have this one in a blind tasting, I might have thought it could have been a bourbon.

Fruity, fresh, floral and spicy. Tropical fruits, peach, and some kind of candy, 'foamblocks'. Full 'nose'.
    • Taste
      85 85
Pretty peppery and strong. fruity and spicy, some citrus, honey, vanilla, tropical fruits. Some candy again.
    • Finish
      86 86
Still some pepper, sweet and some fruit, honey, peach, some vanilla and still this sweet candy. It makes me think of a bourbon even.

    Mellow, well behavioured dram.
    • Nose
This started of close to a calvados nose, but with the sensory tool a bit deeper in the glass it comes across like a gentle lowland, reminding me of the bottle of GM Rosebank I got.

      Sweet fruity floral notes.

      Apple, peach, passion, orange.

      Soft and subtle.
    • Taste
Loads of fruit, but also quite a bit of spice.

The spice make it bolder and more powerful than implied by the nose, but it's counter ballanced by zesty citrus, keeping the fresh impression.

There's also some nutty stuff mingling from midway.
    • Finish
Those nuts that start off about midway evolve into the finish and take over, getting roasted, dry and quite bitter.

I tried this whisky at a festival a couple of years back and made a mental note to pick one up if I saw it. The price is great too.

Another great whisky from India, very fruity and it goes down far to easily. I think the percentage stops you from getting carried away.
    • Nose
Smells almost like a Rye on first nosing. There is passion fruit, ginger cake, orange chocolate, custard cream biscuit, space dust I used to get when I was a kid, that stuff that crackled in your mouth and lilac flower.
    • Taste
Tropical fruits in a cocktail, very drinkable and very pleasant. I detect a little bit of smokiness in the background. Bubble gum and again that orange citrus. The 46% is spot on.
    • Finish
A medium and quite astringent finish with rhubarb and custard.
