- Tasted during the Inchgower III tasting of WCY on 14-10-2017
- Maybe still shy on the nose, but it certainly delivers in the taste and finish. A rock solid Inchgower.
Very complex. The spirit is still detectable, with a nutty, beefy style (macadamia). There is something green (parsley), mineral and creamy (vanilla). This eventually leads to an enormous explosion of fruit. Unripe banana and pineaple, (ripe) lychee, mango. Nice!
Powerful but pleasant on the attack towards the end. Medium sweet, not too sour nor bitter. Still on a green-fruity side, with chives and parley combined with clotted cream, honey and loads of tropical fruits. It certainly delivers.
Slightly woody towards the finish (vanilla, sawdust), but that's pleasant because it's not dominating. Combine this with the creamy fruity explosion and there is a grande finale!
- What a fruitty Inchgower, Nice Surprise!
