- very round and full of standard whisky, very tasty.
Smoky, sherry, fruity sweet, spicy
Smoky, sweet fruits, spicy sherry, and some chocolate.
Smoky, spicy, sweet and also here the sherry comes through beautifully, also the oak appears here.
- ["Another brick in the wall" tasting session - n°18]
It's interesting, but maybe not my prefered style. There's something weird in this because there's peat and sherry in the ingredients, yet the end result smells neither like peat, neither totally like consensual sherry either. So, interesting. But I'd take any Laimrig over this anyday.
Actually very cereal-y and not quite that peated. Black bread, knackebröd, and maybe indeed some burning tyre in the background. Fenugreek, maybe a touch of ketchup.
Quite ancedotal and thin, the reduction is felt. Knackebröd and ketchup.
- Very nice nose, very round taste and the sherry can be tasted clearly, medium-long finish. PLV - sometimes under 40 € still available, great.
- Something is wrong with the nose. Kind of fishy? Hopefully just my bottle ..
