- Value (£50) : 2/10
- it's perfectly alright
an easy-drinking dram
but not often for me
a nice pleasant nose, old oak, sherry increases, slightly raisins, slightly smoke, slightly caramel increases, red berries, autumn leaves, rice cakes
later slightly Maggi
soft on the palate
slightly dark caramel, slightly dark malt, oak, spicy, sherry, smoke, nuts (hazel or whale), alternation between earthy-nutty-woody
a milky note?
light oak and sherry, very spicy, tart, roasted aromas, some smoke, light Maggi, dark chocolate ~ 65%
- Great sherry whisky with the right amount of smoke
Typical sherry aromas, light bacon note, maritime
Raisins, caramel, wood, gravy, melted chocolate
Smoke notes and sherry aromas with dark chocolate remain until the end
Finish: medium long
- subtle smoke note over everything, sometimes stronger sometimes weaker
clearly sherry, overlaid with subtle smoke
heavy dark overripe red grapes
some dark chocolate
heavy and oily
the light smoke gradually becomes stronger
heavy, sweet, covered with sherry and lots of smoke
- very round and full of standard whisky, very tasty.
Smoky, sherry, fruity sweet, spicy
Smoky, sweet fruit, spicy sherry, some chocolate.
Smoky, spicy, sweet and here too the sherry comes through nicely, also the oak comes out here.
