Whisky Reviews for St. Kilian White Dog

- So of course this is not whiskey, but a new make and we rate here whiskeys, so my rating is still correspondingly low, even if I think the new make really delicious.
The White Dog I would prefer many good fruit brandies.
very pleasant, malty and fruity, cereals, the fruit goes a bit towards mango and passion fruit, or even ripe pear, yes, rather the pear, has a bit of a good Williams, slightly harsh, even a bit of fruit core casing , overall, it looks quite creamy with a slight sweetness
also very creamy in the mouth, sweet, pear, some cereals, again slightly dry, almost like juice, barely noticeable alcohol, had on the weekend a Williams, that was a very different category of the sharpness ago
really, as if you had just eaten a piece of pear, warming, the fruit lasts for quite a long time, beautiful
- beautiful floral aromas, a bit perfume-like. Also as good as schnapps or as suggested for cocktails very well suited. Logically, there are still the metallic flavors and a slight sharpness but otherwise I have high expectations of the finished whiskey
- The version of St.Kilian New Make diluted to 43%. In addition to the typical malt notes, the fruit notes are stronger here than with the cask strength. Beautiful bright fruits like unripe pear and apples. Soft and supple, it is wonderful to enjoy even without barrel storage. You can be very curious about their first matured whiskey.
