Nose: A relatively strong smoky note for the age and Bowmore. The smoke is very nicely incorporated into the rest of the bouquet. A strong lemon note and oriental spices. An exciting nose, which develops nicely in the glass. Slightly nutty note.
Mouthfeel: Very mild and dry in the mouth. Heavy on the tongue.
Taste: Dark chocolate paired with the smoke aroma and surrounded by a nice fruitiness. A nice, slightly sweet, fruity mango note comes through very nicely after the smoke, as well as a slightly spicy / salty nuance.
Finish: very long and beautiful. Fruity, sweet, smoky, a little oak and then the dark chocolate.

fine and slightly floral, light fruitiness with a little lemon, oak, vanilla and a hint of smoke. Appears delicate and light.

small approach, aromatic, slightly floral and sweet. Then it continues with fine barrel notes, aromas of different woods, spices, espresso, delicately tart oak / chocolate. The smoke is aromatic and comes out pretty well at the end. + H2O: softer and without starting with the impressions gained previously, a hint of perfume and with less tart oak notes. Very tasty!

Initially with a hint of espresso and delicate oak / chocolate, a hint of lemon, some smoke and ash. At the end it fades away slightly malty.

Smell: The bartender politely moved the special drink to the front. The wide mouth of the cup, with half a slice of grapefruit and mint leaves on the edge of the cup, near the nose, is a refreshing sensation of mint occupying the main melody, shallow fruity aroma With rich layers, I sprinkle a handful of smoky pieces of spices, they are shimmering in the ice sea, small fresh, small wild, everyone is the same, unable to resist the best way of expression this summer

Drinking: The vigorous wine body will sink slowly in the cavity. When the air comes in, the cinnamon, oak and salty flavors are activated, and the tongue begins to burn slightly (comfortable). After swallowing the mixed dense bubbles, exchange many The smoked fruit wood, the end rhyme is infinitely extended in the salty and sweet

Feeling: I always describe Bomo’s peaty feeling, like Lin Jiadong in Hong Kong movies, the man who often nominates the best supporting actor, but returns with a feather. I always feel that his supporting role is often more than the protagonist. Good-looking, loyal or evil, ruthless or benevolent, roaming among the many superstars to advance and retreat, peaty itself is very domineering, so most of the OB wines in Islay are hard to see the figure of Shirley barrels. The phenol value of Bourmore's new wine is only 8-10ppm. Not only can it be a good supporting role in Shirley wine, but also in Bourbon, it can also play its own role. It is really a rare good personality.

The typical Bowmore smoke floats in the nose. Behind it soap-flowery. Rose water a little violet, yes, is still a typical 80s representative of the Bowmorerange, you have to like that. But to his honor rescue - it is not too obtrusive. A nutty malty knows to please.
Also soapy in the mouth, but then goes in a nice spicy sweetness, a little cinnamon, a little coconut, then it gets bitter with dark chocolate, maybe coffee. The smoke remains discreet in the mouth.
In the finish long, rather bitter but paired with a slight sweetness and this soapy tone I like that really well.
Conclusion: beautiful 80s Bowmore with the typical soapy basic profile. Of course you have to like that, I like it. Good drinking strength. 89 points today
