http://kaypingers-whiskyblog.de/frontend/fullarticle.php?id=306 Color: copper Nose: Old sherry and dark fruit flavors of blueberries and blackberries. A fine salty, leather-flavored seasoning is in the glass. Wood, orange peel, honey and broken smoke complete your nose! Overall, a bit restrained and closed. Taste: Wow, very extraordinary! Who would have thought that - the amount of wood determines at least 50% of the taste! It is "good" wood, perfectly integrated and without bitter tannins. Harmonious, very peppery and orange-lined. Now, the side effects of oak wood come into play: chocolate, cocoa, mocha, smoke and salt and a vibrant freshness that sticks to the palate! Finish: Long, spicy and fresh. Persistently salty, tingling and slightly acidic. Mocha, coffee, nuts, liquorice and still fat oak. Note: The wood takes over from the beginning and shows the direction! 91 points N: 90P / G: 92P / F: 91P
