    Very cool. A grenade priced!
    • Nose
      89 89
Honey, pears, red apple, light citrus notes, minimally malty
    • Taste
      89 89
Apple juice, nice and tangy, oak flavor, light astringency
    • Finish
      87 87
Oak spice remains warming on the palate, then apples and pears come to the front again

  2. Northern&Isles scored this whisky 97 points Expert Senior

Fruity and at the same time spicy Glentauchers.
Light fruits such as apple, pear, peach, apricot, melon, mirabelle plum and gooseberries, as well as some Amalfi lemon.
In addition, herbs and spices such as mint, vanilla, cinnamon, a little ginger and a hint of menthol.
In addition, significantly more oak seasoning towards the finish, but not too strong, pleasant and not bitter or sour.
    Complex and balanced.
    Highly recommended.

  3. Whisky-in-Wiesbaden scored this whisky 88 points Connoisseur

Nose: Floral notes of sweet potpourri, various fruits and rose water.
Taste: passion fruit, lychee, cherry and pineapple. A mix of fresh fruits! Sweet violets, candy cane and a hint of lemon.
Finish: Pfeffrig, with a pleasant taste of mint.

  4. StyrianSpirit scored this whisky 89 points Expert Senior

A fine-spicy malt with lemony-and-tart aromas, which tends to be especially strong in the finish relatively strong to the oak. For me, the good results in 89 total points. What I miss with this 24-year-old Speysider, that is the "fruit complexity" - a few "bright" and "exotic" fruit I miss more to the absolute flavor happiness.
    • Nose
      90 90
Lemon, lemon grass, a little hay, slightly dusty, light grape. And a pleasant mint fresh breeze. A few oak planks are finally noticeable.
    • Taste
      89 89
In the mouth, the malt comes spicy herbaceous, now hay and slight dustiness in the foreground, before the oak announces itself clearly. The light grapes remain stronger in the background than in the odor impression.
    • Finish
      88 88
In the medium-long finish then dominates the oak, followed by herbal spices of the bitter variety. The fruitiness fades.
