  1. Commandant Pastor scored this whisky 84 points Member Senior

It works much better than the old version at 43 °. Almost one-dimensional, very grassy peat. Good whiskey however, easy to taste, but which suffers from a lack of relief.

Very own mixture of the bright, sparkling notes and this so subtle hint of peat as I rarely had it.

On the nose, fruits (apple, pear), a little vanilla and intense peat!

On the palate, it is remarkable for a blended: one feels the sweetness of a fine peat associated with the fruity citrus, the malt is present, it is little spicy, almost floral and quite tenacious!

In the final, 2nd good surprise, it is medium to long enough with a small woody, honeyed return, and the peat disappears on a smokier, vanilla and lemony sensation!

a very nice surprise after the 1st Flatnöse, an association of 7 whiskeys from Speyside and 2 from Islay (Laga and Laphro!)!

    and autographed!
    • Nose
      apple, spices and peat!
      back glue, dry wood, salt.
